Why do I get a 'popups blocked' message at the top of my screen when I try to open the interactive?

To fix this, right click on the error message and select 'allow blocked popups'. The program will open in a new window and this action is not harmful to your computer.

Why won't the interactive open?

Sometimes opening lots of websites results in a lot of unnecessary files being temporarily stored on your computer. It is good to regularly clear these files from your browser cache.

I've not looked at an interactive program before. What do I do?

When you can see the interactive program home screen welcome message and the Carers NSW logo, click on the 'Help' button on the top right of the screen. Place your cursor over each highlighted element to find out what it does. Then click the 'Close' button.

Do I need any special software to view the interactive?

The interactive is created using Adobe®Flash so Flash Player 8 or above needs to be installed. You can download this free software from www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

How do I advance through the program?

Click on the 'Next' button on the bottom right of the screen.

How do I easily go to just the service provider sub-topics at the end of each topic?

Select the 'Menu' button on the bottom left corner to open up a list of topics and sub-topics. From here you can link directly to any topic or sub-topic by clicking on it.
